Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Forward Deployment game ("the game") collects and how it is used. The game is published by Vinca Consulting LLC, a limited liability company registered in Washington, USA ("we", "us"). Questions: info@vincaconsult.com.

What we collect

• Account identifier. When you play online, the game creates a guest account using a random identifier generated for your installation. We do not use your device's advertising ID.
• Sign-in information (optional). If you link Sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique account identifier from that service and, if you allow it, an email address (Apple may give us a private relay address). We never see your password.
• Game data. Your progress, settings, unlocks, match results and the moves you make in online matches, so we can run matches, prevent cheating and restore your progress.
• Purchase status. Whether you own the Full Game. Payments are processed by Apple or Google; we never receive your card or bank details. Purchase receipts are verified through our purchase provider, RevenueCat.
• Technical data. Basic connection data such as IP address, app version and device type, which our server processes to connect you to matches and keep the service secure.

Solo play works offline. Its progress is stored on your device and is not sent to us unless you play online or link an account.

What we don't do

• We do not show ads.
• We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising.
• We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Who processes your data

• Our game server, run on a cloud hosting provider with servers in the United States.
• RevenueCat, to verify purchases.
• Apple and Google, for sign-in and payments, under their own privacy policies.

Where your data is stored

Our servers are in the United States. If you play from outside the US, your information is transferred to and processed in the US.

Other players

In online matches, your opponent sees your in-game display name, commander and army. There is no free-text chat; players can only send preset emotes.

How long we keep data

We keep your account and game data while your account exists. Match records are kept for up to 90 days for cheat prevention and support. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.

Your choices and rights

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete Account, or by emailing us. This deletes your account and online game data. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct or export your data; email us and we will respond within the time the law requires.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored on servers with restricted access.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the game.
